You've got a couple of years of civil drafting under your belt and you know your way around a set of plans. But right now, you're probably producing the same output on repeat and wondering if the work is ever going to get more interesting. This one does. Our client designs some of Victoria's most recognised land development projects, residential estates, commercial precincts, industrial logistics hubs, and they need a drafter who's ready for 'different'. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY You'll be drafting civil engineering designs across a busy land development portfolio; roads, drainage, sewer, water, and earthworks. You'll be: Preparing civil drawings and documentation for land development projects, from concept through to construction issue. Working with engineers to develop and refine designs across roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure. Things change. Let's be flexible. Producing and updating plans in 12d Model and/or AutoCAD. Coordinating with surveyors, planners, and other disciplines as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team. Keeping documentation clean and current. You'll be taking home $80k - $90k p/a plus Super. THE BUSINESS Our client has been doing this for over four decades and their reputation in Victoria's land development space is about as solid as it gets. They work end-to-end — town planning, surveying, civil engineering, urban design, landscape, and building design. That means you'll be working alongside planners, surveyors, and urban designers on the same project, which makes the work richer, and makes you a better drafter for it. ABOUT YOU Capable, curious, and ready for more You don't need to have seen it all. We do seek solid drafting fundamentals, a good eye for detail, and the drive to keep improving. You'll need: 2–6 years of civil drafting experience, ideally in land development or 'light' civil infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD A solid understanding of civil drawing standards and documentation requirements. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once Good communication ability. KEEN?
